  • 1 chicken weighing 1 kg
  • 80 g chopped onions
  • 3 cloves garlic
  • 1 tablespoon butter
  • 1/2 teaspoon ginger
  • 1 teaspoon red pepper
  • 1 teaspoon cumin
  • 8 saffron bristles
  • 1 teaspoon turmeric
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 8 Cl olive oil
  • 15 Cl water

To decorate the hen:

  • 1 tablespoon butter
  • 2 tablespoons oil
  • 100 g peeled and fried almonds

  1. Wash the chicken thoroughly and cut into 4 servings. Crushes the chicken liver and keeps it.
  2. In a vase mix the spices with olive oil. Soak the chicken pieces in the seasoning mixture, cover the pot with food plastic and let the chicken drink the seasoning mixture and enter the refrigerator for an hour.
  3. In a cooker, the butter is melted and the garlic and onions are browned. Add the chicken pieces with the spices and water mixture then cover the pan until the chicken is cooked.
  4. Remove the chicken pieces from the pot and keep them.
  5. Add the chicken liver to the pan and cook over low heat, stirring until the broth is picked.
  6. In a skillet over low heat, fry chicken pieces in oil and butter.
  7. In the serving dish, lay the chicken pieces, watered with broth and decorate with almonds.
